CAERUS was the ancient  God of Opportunity. Youngest son of Zeus, his physical make up symbolised all that was necessary to help mere mortals make the most of their opportunities. He was bald but with a lock of hair at the front of his head. This meant that he could be grasped easily on approach but only with great difficulty once he’d passed. He had wings on his back and on his feet to help him make the most of prevailing winds. CAERUS also carried a set of scales that meant, whilst capable of being decisive, he weighed up situations carefully before deciding which way to move so as to make the most of the opportunity at hand.

The attributes associated with CAERUS – preparedness to act allied to informed judgement - are as relevant to Wealth Creation today as they were two and a half thousand years ago.
