Keith Carby, Chairman and CEO
Entered Personal Financial Services in 1981 with Hambro Life. Became Sales Director and then Managing Director of Allied Dunbar. One of three Founders and first Managing Director of J. Rothschild Assurance in 1991 (now St. James’s Place). Co-Founder of Foster Denovo plc. Also held CEO positions at Inter-Alliance and Openwork. Co-Founder of the Financial Services Forum.
Founding NED of Metro Bank.
Andy Ferns, Group Sales and Marketing Director
Joined the Industry in 1982 with what is now Lloyds/HBOS before moving to Standard Life as a Life Inspector. After joining Allied Dunbar as a Financial Adviser, became the youngest ever Regional Sales Director and then Area sales Director. After the Company was acquired by Zurich Financial Services, one of the world’s largest Insurance businesses, promoted in 2003 to Managing Director of Zurich’s UK Advisory arm, ZAN, and made Board Director of its other UK subsidiaries, Eagle Star, Zurich Life, Zurich Independent and Sterling.
Ronan Kearney, Group Investment Director
Started as an Insurance Salesman for Friends Provident in 1995. Promoted to Senior Taxation Consultant dealing with Investment strategies before further promotion to Strategic marketing Manager. Joined Prudential plc as a Business Development Manager where he signed that Company’s first ever Bancassurance deal before being made the Venture Fund Manager at Octopus Investments Ltd in 2005. Three years later, he Founded Allium Capital which specialised in creating innovative Fund Management arrangements representing over £250m AuM at the time he merged Allium into CAERUS Capital.
David Rance, Group Finance Director
A CIMA qualified professional Senior Accountant who has worked extensively within the accounting function of both Financial Services and multi-national organisations, including Aon. In 2005, joined Home of Choice Ltd, a mortgage and General Insurance Advisory network as Financial Controller before being promoted to Finance Director. Played a pivotal role in steering the business through the credit crunch to the acquisition and integration into LSL Property Services PLC in 2010.
